Who am I?

To be honest, I never imagined I would find myself creating a community for single moms, but here we are. I experienced it first hand: I became single while still pregnant and suddenly everything changed.

 

At that time, I looked for spaces where I could feel accompanied, share experiences and find support… but I didn’t find anything that really suited my situation. And the truth is, I felt very alone.

 

While I was trying to process everything, I also had to find a new job while pregnant, move out on my own, get a master's degree, and organize my future life as a mom. All at the same time.

 

SingleMomsBCN was born so that no other mom has to go through this alone.

Because yes, we can do anything, but that doesn't mean we have to do it without support.

 

Here you will find:

• A WhatsApp group to talk, laugh and feel accompanied in this wonderful chaos.

• Events and plans where you can come with or without your little one, because we know that sometimes there is no one to leave them with.

• Connect with other moms looking to share a flat, because raising a child in a community is always easier (and cheaper).
